Manual focus is quite easy, images just snap into focus. I am afraid its going back up for sale, because I just found a nearly new Leica 280mm F/4.0 and I can't afford to keep both. So its got a week on this site then its off to fleabay... If you want it in new condition, this is probably the only one left in the world, only 20 were converted.

A couple from a Snowshoe hike up and down Steptoe Butte in the Palouse Region of Washington State
Nex 7 with Sony 55-210 lens nice to have a lightweight kit for hikes like this instead of dragging the 5D Mark II or 1 D Mark III up and down with me

These were all processed to taste with a fair amount of adjustment, particularly the last one, where the area below the horizon was quite dark.

Was yours a good copy? It's super-sharp from 2.8, with lovely bokeh; I can't imagine you not doing great stuff with it, if you like the focal length (which I've discovered I love on APS-C). Mine's been glued to my NEX since I got it; it's almost retired my 28mm & 50mm lenses.

Performance was quite good, but i never liked the colors and the images i took with it lacked somehow. If i get the chance to try another one i will try it again! It will have a hard stance against the G28 though ;-).

lovely lens, not that much bigger than a 50mm, performance seems to be as good as with the MD 100/4 Macro but focusing is nicer.

Phillip, that last one really grabbed my attention. The zig zagging fence really makes it, and as usual your processing skills bring out the details.

How are you liking the 16-50? How about the NEX6?

Great series of shots as usual Phillip.
Ron, your shots from the 21 seem to be getting better, just getting used to it I guess.
I was also wondering how active/accurate the peaking was with it wide open vs. stopped down, as I have a few wides that are hard to nail focus even with a good amount of peaking to help.

I've been working on my output sharpening (all on Linux), thanks again for the feedback, not there yet but I think it's getting better.
