joevain, I really like the second shot. Taran and Leady, nice bird shots.

Here's a boring WO shot with the FD300/2.8L.

.How do you like using your adapter? How good is the AF?

Firstly, thanks for your comment on my photo. It was a nice light. Secondly, about the adapter, I'd say that I think that it's useful mainly for the Sony 70-300 G, which I find an outstanding lens and I think that it's very useful as a birding lens when on a trip, if I only carry the NEX. The AF is very good, really quick and reliable. With the Zeiss I'm not so sure. It's too bulky as a walk around lens (meaning, too bulky considering that the NEX5N is too small and not particularly comfortable with such a big lens. It makes me feel that I should be carrying my A700, which makes the lens very balanced and pleasant to use), particularly when there are other options that are quite good, from primes to even the kit lens, which I find really good for what it is.
So, all in all, I would recommend the adapter, but not for a normal zoom, but for specialty options.
I hope I answered to your question.

Philip - the 2nd shot looks like a wide-angle. sure it's not the 28/2.8 (or even the CV15)?

@ lumis, love the bridge.
@ photoomaha, great work with light and color - atmospheric

Here is another from the Lake District, England. This spot is close to what was the most photographed bridge in the UK, that was until the council decided to let the trees grow and block the view . The town of Keswick is located middle right and a walk round the lake covers a distance of 15 miles. Should really set-up a corner fix profile.

With the Voigtländer Ultron 28, one of my favorites in the last weeks. Fits perfectly for the Nex.

I received my collection of G Series lenses this week (28,45 and 90) and have been playing with them when possible. When possible has been a quick run out to the garden during my lunch hour at home. Not even sure which lens did what at this point. Hope to get some time with them this weekend.

So far I'm happy with the focusing system considering how it is a bit of a kludge. But the quality of the lenses and the glow and bokeh give me a happy. Not great shots but they give me an indication of the possibilities when I have time to get out and shoot.

The weather was relatively great last night, so I took a trip up to Kerry Park. The POV is a bit cliched but I'd actually never been up there and wanted a good location for some nighttime shots of the city.
