I've only had the Sony 10-18mm two days, but I like it. I did a quick and very unscientific comparison between it and my Rokinon 14mm (with the Sony set at 14mm), and found that the Sony was sharper throughout the frame.

I don't see any signs of magenta cast yet on my Nex 7. The weaker corner of my copy is the upper left. If I zoom in at 100% there and look at fine detail, I can see some smearing. There is some CA, which Lightroom easily removes. I am looking forward to getting a Lightroom profile. If one doesn't show up soon, I may try to make one myself!

Here is a shot taken at 10mm, f4, at 1/13th of a second. My hands are not very steady, so the OSS is very helpful for me.

I took some sample 16-50 OSS shots, here:

I'm actually pleasantly surprised, it's not too bad of a lens. Still, with the prices people are willing to pay for these now, I might sell mine now. I don't have much use for it.

Shots from this morning, with the Rokkor 58/1.2. This thing is a little difficult for me to focus wide-open. I did get used to the weight, however. It's not too bad:

Recently did a 'senior session' using only the nex 6. I am posting these so that other folks that were in my shoes can have an idea of what the camera can do. I am really happy with the performance and won't have any worries about delivering images to a client with this camera. I am really looking forward to getting the 35 1.8, I think that could open up the nex series to wedding work for me. Anyway, here are a couple of images from our session.

Great shot, Jae, one I would have been very proud to take! I am just not quite sure of the very dark object in the middle, which pulls in my eye too much for my liking. Probably not that dark on your own screen in hi-rez, methinks.

Industar 50-2 50mm 3.5 on NEX 3.
OOC jpeg BW +3;0;+1
f3.5 to f8, ISO up to 1600
The lens is totally screwed up, scratched front element and stuff like this xD
For color it is not usable anymore but i love it for BW!
Not even a little bit sharp wide open and even full closed the edges are blurred.
