a couple more with celestron c-90 1000mm f/11 mirror lens. i'm pretty sure i could probably get better images enlarging shots from a shorter lens, but it is fun to shoot with for the challenge.

i'm afraid i don't have much chance to go anyplace where stars can be shot. i'm more of a fan of wide angles for stars too – though i haven't ever really tried with teles.

I only said that because in the telescope world the mirrored reflectors, which includes the catadioptrics are mostly void of CA. Only problem is the need for a tracking mount...

yeah, it's really a telescope not a lens. i suspect tracking mounts are more expensive than the lens?
