Fascinating scenery and technically wonderful presentation for me The richness of #1 is wonderful, the sense of motion and gentle flow of the clouds in #2 is interesting. Both 3 and 4 are amazing in depth and a thrill to view!
These are all beautiful Owen, great light throughout. If I had a nit it would be the horizon tilting to the right, especially in the first and third. The second may be an optical illusion and I don't see it in the last but the in the first and third it throws me off a bit.
Great shots. I freaking love that place. I have been fortunate to get my fair share of travelling in, but that is the only place that truly stole my heart.
edited to add: I would try to fix the smudge/flare on the first, on the mountain, just below the cloud line. And #2 feels like its leaning a touch to the right, but that might be an optical illusion.
Wow - beautiful views in all of these. I lingered on the first one thinking it was a remarkable scene and then was delighted to see the others below. 3 and 4 show some really dramatic scenery and the light in these images plays against the topography nicely.
Thanks all for the nice feedback. I will fix up the couple of errors noted.
@ mspringfield: We did visit the Talisker distillery, took a tour and sampled its produce. Unfortunately it was not very photogenic from the outside and photos were not permitted inside. Very interesting tour though.
