I feel that the black and white film handled the high contrast scenes better with a soft smoother look. I miss that about film. Also you wouldn't get as much corner vignetting on the superwide shots.
But digital, being more sensitive to light than film at the same ISO, allows you to get cleaner high ISO shots. I like that about digital.
I also enjoyed the contrast in Sam's and Evan's wedding styles--both very good--but also different. Thanks guys!
I'm not sure how much they paid, but I'm not sure it matters. Whatever it was they got two ridiculously awesome sets of completely different wedding images for too little money. Seriouz.
I have to admit I am a big fan of your work Sam, and this wedding totally pushes me again wanting to become better...to approach at least to 1% of your capabilities and creativity!
