it was shockingly sunny and warm when we were at the beach, i was almost tempted to go in the water.
i'm kinda torn about the 28/2. on one hand it has produced a shockingly high percentage of my favorite shots considering how infrequently i shoot with it. on the other hand, it is giant on my camera, not as sharp as my g28, and my copy has some optical issues that i know effect it's performance but i'm not sure to what degree.
Recently I purchased a fabulous Rokkor 58 1.2 from the buy&sell board. Here are a few images from today with the lens mounted on a 12mm extension tube and 5DII. They are somewhere between f2 and f5.6.
It's the creamy quality to the colours, as if they've been smeared together on a painter's palette, that I particularly like.
