p.180 #3 · Leica R Series Lenses

Well, I've now got a 35/2 on the way! I went around in circles a lot between this and a few other lenses (for use on the Nex, with the Speedbooster), and this one won out. I'll probably be selling my Distagon 24/2 ZA if the Cron works out well. (and later buying a ZF.2 25/2, but that's another story. . .)

The 80 Lux was attractive but just not a lens I'd picture using much. The 50 lux (v. 1, which I like better from what I've seen) lost out because I've already got the Nokton 35/1.2 and the SB/50Lux combo wouldn't be smaller, lighter or cheaper, and I'm not sure the different rendering is enough for me right now.

Here are some photos taken with my Fujifilm X-E1 camera and my Leica 35-70mm f4 Vario Elmar zoom lens. I had to work these in LR4.4RC, particularly the ones of the Sunset. I did not have time to use my Singh-Ray Grad ND filters and had to do the work in LR. A little sharpening was used in the original file before resizing. The only file with additional sharpening after resizing was the first.

This kid is a lot more friendly to my camera than mine

he obvious notice I am trying to take picture of my kids, but they are not responding, so he shown up, I hesitated, but he insisted and stay there like this for several sec, so I quickly refocus and captured.

Yes thanks Phillip, I read that the other day. No balloons flew yesterday and I wonder if the organisers have self-imposed or had imposed a ban on launches after the building collision and the Lake-dunk by another one.
