The only snow you can see is that which is lit by the flash. Looks like she cast a shadow where there appears to be no snow.

Nice shots. Don't love 9 like everyone else does. The guy just doesn't look that interested... If he had had the same enthusiasm she does, it would have been epic.

Other than the spot on that guy's eye (#9), I like the shot... He seems very comfortable with a passionate kiss heading his way.

Hi guys, a few have asked about lighting on the snow shots. I used to use Pocketwizards, but with 580EXs was having reliability issues so am putting those up for sale shortly. This was my second shoot using Radiopoppers, but I have the JRXs, not the fancy version. So far, SUPER reliable!

The shots were all backlit with a 580EX/radiopopper. Most featured video light for fill (husband-held), a couple used mild bounced on-camera 580EX, and number 12 was just the backlight only!
