p.1 #1 · First Engagemet Shoot

So I went out on my first engagement shoot with my friends. Seeing as this is the first time I have done this type of shoot, I typical shoot landscape. I am looking for some critique on what I can improve and what I may have done right. Here are a few of the images. Thanks.

I'd like em alot more without the vignette, nice natural colors and consistent PP though.

I'm guessing you added the vignette to draw attention away from the blown out background especially the last photo where there was no shade. Next time maybe increase your SS way higher to keep the background darker if you can. At f/2.8 I would have gone as high as 2000+ but I like to shoot at the extremes.

There's nothing like shooting untanned white people in the dead of winter.

These are nice pics and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments and the suggestions, I did over do the vignette and will have to think twice about them next time, still trying to come up with an editing style for portraits. Thanks Ric. for the comment on making the backgrounds a little darker than they are. Appreciate the feedback.
