Hi-
I have an Epson 3800 and recently updated my PC system to Win7 with Nvidia video card w/ 1gb memory & dual monitors (really top-o-the-line system). However, when using the print-preview feature just before outputting my photo the system hangs for a moment, goes dark, blinks and finally displays properly, but then I receive an error message that my video driver recovered from a serious error - Error code 19.7 (or something like that).
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks, Ben
What Nvidia driver are you using ? The newest Nvidia drivers are really buggy, you may want to revert back to one of their drivers from last fall. I forget the driver number ( I can look it up if you can`t find it ) but it is from last Oct or Nov......that is what I`m using and it fixed my problems. Nvidia really needs to get it`s act together...they always had the best drivers....but that was in the past........good luck.......Peter
PS: make sure you have the newest Epson drivers......
This is a known problem with Windows 7 and Epson preview. Epson needs to write new drivers for Windows 7, but they just haven't yet.
Epson simply recommends that users not use the preview currently. Nice.
I use print preview all the time on a epson 3800. I`m running Win 7 64 bit with one back Nvidia drivers and have not had any problems at all.......Peter
