Hello:
First time inquiring on this end of FM. Thanks for the wealth of info provided and the links to tutorials. My question relates to replacement ink cartridges. Recently got a Canon pixma pro 9500 mark II and found this place: http://www.4inkjets.com/Canon-Ink/Ink-Cartridge/PIXMA/Pro9500-Mark-II/4120-Printer.html
Has anybody had any good or bad experience with this company?
What are your thoughts when replacing cartridges: all OEM or mix and match?
Thanks in advance, Joe.
My photos are too important to trust to OEM replacement cartridges. I use only manufacturer's carts so I can use the profiles provided by the paper manufacturers.
If you use OEM ink, you need to get custom paper/ink profiles to maintain a properly color managed workflow.

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer...I think you mean non OEM
I have read enough not to try anything besides OEM inks. While some have no problems it seems more do have difficulties. My HP B8850 is under an extended warrenty and I would hate to void that which is another reason. While one or two ink makers have made comparable inks I am more then happy with the 8 HP inks.
I get my inks and papers at B&H, with free shipping (NAPP), no tax and low price hard to beat.
