What are you doing with your Black Rapid fastener when you want to use a tripod?

Right now I have to take the fastener off the body and put on the QR plate but it would be a lot easier if a plate could somehow integrate with the fastener, or even if it had some attachment possibilities for the BR connector.

why not leave the QR plate on and clip to the ring on that?

That's what I do. Haven't used the BR fastener at all.

I use a Manfrotto QR plate and it's the six-sided one with nowhere to connect, guess I'll have a look at different heads and QR's.

Which one are you guys using?
