For proper viewing it helps to include the color space info. For example, this image looks quite different if viewed on Firefox with color space management and Safari because of how they handle images without that don't include color space info.
I'd suggest some tweaks to increase exposure and tweak offset and gamma to make it pop. Also try selectively sharpening his eyes. A few tweaks to lower the ruddiness of his face would also help. I'd also suggest cropping some from the top for better proportions.
