I like the use of the bars as compositional element. The bar in foreground does not bother me at all. In fact I like how it pushes the subject back in the photo more. Nice.

I like your perspective in this shot, and his easy, nice smile is tops!
Question: Any exposure tips? He's got a very blonde head of hair which I've found can throw things off. I shoot some white-haired people, and man, they often get way blown out.
Kory - This is a great shot; I love the expression and the bars (could try cropping in in on the right, like the others said, but I like it as it is). Very impressive.

I'm fine with the bar in front, although instinctively I first wonder about it not being there. Agree with a tad of a crop from the right.
