Cute site. The initial load went through two countdowns and took longer than average for me - some patience on my part was required. Galleries, although not glacial paced, was slower than average as well. Also, I am on a macbook 13" monitor and your copy appears very small - can be difficult to read. The post card idea for the contact info is cute, but again, very very small.
It loads instantly for me, but I have a cable business connection. It's a very cute site, but the thumbnails on the side of the galleries move so fast, they make me dizzy! As for the music, it's a bit loud. And where did you get a license for the Michael Buble song?
The music is temporary. It's been like that so I could easily edit and make sure everything works. I've been checking into some licensing companies to see what they offer in the meantime.
BTW - The site is not live...the only way to get here is a direct link.

As for music - what do the rest of you prefer? Music autoplays or not? BTW - The music toggle is in the upper-right hand corner. You click and it opens the controls for you. Granted we haven't purchased the license to play music yet, but we also haven't figured out what songs we're sticking to yet either.
We autoplay music in the galleries but also set a persistent cookie to track whether or not to autoplay on the next page load.
I haven't read the above commments. Site loaded fast, I like the look and feel, the counter between pictures on the slideshow got to me when it happened on every photo and if you could cut the time on page by a 2 seconds I think it will help to keep people watching more.
Load times are pretty painful for the galleries, and the calendar, that's all I checked. It was too hard for me to wait that long.
Front page load time was fine.
Comment on the music: When you click on the icon it doesn't turn it to mute. You have to press the popup stop to get the music off. That could cost you brides surfing during work it's pretty annoying, too.
I like the "cuteness" factor. Works nicely as an image/brand.
I've got the site stripped down to where it's only loading a total of approx. 500kb at the start...certainly not enough to cause that long of a wait. I'm going to have to check with GoDaddy and see what options we have for improving our performance. It seems like the results are too sporadic for my liking.
Another fix I'll have to attend to...is the music. I know those files can be reduced in size by quite a bit too. Maybe it's trying to load those files first...
