These are nice. Either you coached them well on what to wear, or they just know these things.
The first three bench pics seem distant. I know that's the point, but if it's a long shot of the couple, I'd like them to be doing something intimate. Long shots combined with casual activity seems like a surveillance pic.
Something I'm trying to work on is getting my couples to "do" things during the shoot. Whether they bring something, or engage with the surroundings, I want to lessen the amount of just holding each other. Might be something worth thinking about.
Also, watch the glare coming off his glasses.
Still, you captured some great expressions. Nicely done.

I love the look on her face in 8. She seems to be genuinely enjoying herself.
14 is probably my fav of the set.
13 I looked at twice because I originally couldn't tell what other than her chest was in focus. I'm guessing you're going for the ring, but... I would scrap that one. Cool in concept but needs to be shot at a much shallower DOF, IMHO.

awesome...thanks for the critiques...i get what Phyl is saying about #13 needing a shallower DOF....and gfrasur, i see what you're saying about it looking like a surveillance pic..haha...those were the first few shots, and i dont think they had really loosened up yet...they got a lot better towards the end of our time together...

The first 7 pics look like they are on a second date. They like each other but no real chemisty yet. #7 looks like she is pushing him away. Starting at #8 the personalities come out and they look together. really great towards the end, nice exposure and color. good job

It think these are really good for the most part. Would agree that the first couple are a bit distant. My biggest problem is the ring shot (#14) it doesn't work, to far away and it takes a while to figure out what it is and does not show off the diamond at all. Don't know how that could be anyone's favorite.

your numbers are messed up...or my numbers...either way....14 is the fire escape shot...15 is the ring shot....i fixed it...

I'm guessing he's talking about 15. It is too far from the ring and not knowing what the necklace is leaves me wondering what that jumble is. That should be a macro shot taken within inches of the subject for best wow factor, IMHO.

Better but still not right, you need to crop further or retake. It is the weakest point of a really nice effort on your part.
