These were shot near the little Borders town of Biggar, Scotland, last September. We were staying in the best accommodation I've ever experienced, and this scene was just outside the back gate.

A bit of a challenge to avoid the flare - the 24-105L is not noted for it's performance in this department....

Hope these appeal to some.

Great job of using the trees to get the starburst and t avoid the flare, and still be able to render detail in the shadows. Looks very natural and pleasing
