It always amazes me how moving water can freeze. Athabasca Falls were laden with ice when we visited in October last year.

Hi David, super 'cold' images. It amazes me that people will go to places where moving water freezes, but at least it provides us the opportunity to see there without being there

Nice set!

Hard to pick a 'best' in this bunch.....though probably the 3rd in a 'photo finish'. The 2nd would probably get the nod but seems to lack ( by just a smidgeon) the nice contrast of the others.

Nice series, David. Wow, frozen in October. My favorite is the last. Nice combination of the static ice, and the dynamic flow of the water. I think #3 would have been better with less foreground, and the inclusion of the cutoff mountain top. Do you have any like that?
