Last weekend was the first major race of the season, the Park 425. A few of my favorite shots.
1. Feb. 6, 2010; Parker, AZ, USA; BITD trick truck driver Scott Kincaid stuffs his front end into the dirt at race mile four during the Parker 425.
2. BITD jeepspeed driver Clint Malburg leans to the right after bouncing airborne during the Parker 425.
3. BITD jeepspeed driver Clint Malburg's right front wheel explodes on landing sending a cloud of wheel dust and shrapnel to the right after bouncing airborne during the Parker 425.
4. BITD class 1500 driver Steve Croll at race mile five during the Parker 425.
5. BITD trick truck driver Pete Sohren bounces and goes up on two wheels during qualifying for the Parker 425.
6. Feb. 4, 2010; Parker, AZ, USA; BITD trick truck driver Andy McMillin apexes a corner during qualifying for the Parker 425.
7. BITD trick truck driver Scott Whipple crosses Shea Road as a spectator in an ultralight flies overhead during the Parker 425.
8. BITD class 7200 driver Gary Dixon throws roost at race mile four during the Parker 425.
Bonus #2. The full sequence of the Jeep with the exploding wheel. I am amazed that he saved and did not go wheels up. They changed our the tire and finished the race 2nd in class.
