my one critique would be that most of them are towards the center of the frame. for example, in number 1, i think a stronger composition would have been to have your subjects towards the bottom of the frame so that those wonderful trees and sky would stretch all the way up rather than be cut off.
Thanks all. Yeah the comp was affected by the metering in 1, but I shoulda cropped! Like the B&W idea, especially after reading your blog Daniel. Geofan, about a week later we got buckets of snow, there's some still on that mountain. But typically Winter here is more brown and green than white. Thanks for feedback!
