My first and only exposure to Durian had me believing that I was being given something to eat that had died in a violent and awful manner and was subjected to ripening by the side of the road for several days in the hot sun. Wow, God bless those that like it but I would rather not thanks much.
OK, here is my Durian story. On tour in Lebanon, we have a sandwich with peanuts butter wrapped in two layers of food paper, packed in plasticback and laying in our basket next to a Durian. Just one.
Well, the Sandwich tasted so bad, that it was total impossible to eat. So respect here...
Have heard that the Airlines Companies completely has forbidden Durain on their planes.

That's odd. Actually durian tastes very good. The contrast in taste and smell is what makes it so interesting.
