It's a Macro and a B/W question so not really sure where to put this thread.

What do you guys think?

I think color; I'm not too excited about the B/W conversion.

Think either work quite well. Find the blue colour in #1 a bit odd though - shouldn't it be silver ?

The B/W loses too much detail.

I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with what was reflecting in the background whether to leave it blank (technically leaving the wall/ceiling to reflect) or placing an object there. I simply ended up with 1 lamp for reflection off the edges of the platters and my monitor with a few things on it to reflect off the platters. The platter edges are silver, but the faces are so highly polished that they reflect like a perfect mirror with no color tint to it.
