HI Noelle,

Way to go on this terrific set. I especially like the pair of mergansers and also #7 and 9. Thanks for sharing these!

Thanks John, I knew that #6 was a LT duck but had no idea the little brown one was the female. I feel so lucky to have them in my bay

Enjoy them now since they'll only be here over the winter...then back to the Arctic for them. I saw my first LTD last year at Barnegat Lighthouse jetty. Congratulations on your firsts. You have a great venue right at you footstep. I'm sure you'll see a lot more new species there in the bay. Thanks, John

But it might equate to a level of familiarity among long-time posters. Maybe we should be a bit more judicious with our rebukes.

Nice set Noelle! I'm thinking your mystery bird is a female Long-tail. Good to see you've been out shooting!

The first one might be a Mottled Duck. They are plentiful in south Florida.

Nice set, Noelle.

First duck is as mentioned above one of the ubiquitous Mallard/domestic hybrids. The Red-throated loon is not necessarily a female as male and female look the same in both winter and summer plumage.
