1 1 1 1 1 1 1, a million times, 1! I love the color in the water and the sky. Better contrast in the sky in #2, I wish you could bring that out in #1, but I'd still say 1. I'm sure the B&W fanboys here will disagree, though

I also like that color version best. The black and white is a good conversion though.

The blues and greens are just too good together.

In the color version you can get a good feeling of depth in the water. Color for me.

Color, definitely. It is so unusual (at least for me) that I would certainly try to keep it and render as much of it as possible; you did an excellent job at that.
