Great comp in the first shot, Rick. Nice job capturing the nicely lit mountain tops of Mt. Index.
The second is a really nice shot of the fall color and the little falls in the FG top it off nicely. Thanks for going back in the archives and sharing it.
I like both Rick. The reflection of the glowing mountain in the first is real nice. The second is full of eye candy and I’ve enjoyed studding it from the little falls to the fall color to the fog.
Boy did I miss out you guys really had some great shooting, #1 is just fantastic love the light on the peaks and your POV in #1 very nice. #2 is a great Fall image especially with those low clouds flowing through the mountains, very nicely seen on both of these
Harry, Mike, Peyton, Jim, and Ray - Thanks - Ya we had a good day. Hwy 2 is my stomping grounds, I think it is under appreciated. the fall shot is an old favorite of mine and shooting from Index is hard to pass up at less than an hour away. That valley is full of low clouds a lot and the lighting changes quickly with the clouds. Thanks again for your kind words. Rick
Jeffrey - 2 diff. rivers, the first is the Index river which flows into the Skykomish, and down river on the Skykomish is where the second shot is from. Your right about the title, I'm not the best at that, but I thought it was better than " here's one for Johnny". Thanks for the look. Rick
Steven - It was a good day, it's always nice to be humbled on your home turf, shooting and good company is hard to beat any day. Thanks for the comment. Rick
