Thanks Philber - I need to invest in some fishing waders to continue such an activity - "slippery when wet" - I was leaning on the tripod to keep from falling in!

Collegiate Mountains - Contax 35-70 @ about 50mm f8

Thanks Krosavcheg - he seemed pretty bold - the others were standing off in the distance - I think he wanted us to take him home!

A few more - 35mm @ f8 - Looking north from Handies to RedCloud and SunShine peaks - 14,000 foot-ers' (4,270m)

When I was in Hokkaido about 5 years ago, I went up a mountain near the hotel one early morning. On the way down a little fox came out behind me. I turned around and aksed "Could you pose for me for a moment?" and crouched with the camera. The fox patiently waited until I was finished and said "Thank you!", then lazily sauntered off into the bushes..

The shots are fantastic!!!
Here is one urban animal, though It got mad amount of fringing.. All my glas seem to produce that...

Thanks Wayne and for reminding me to look them up - indeed Corn Lilies - there were acres of them at alpine on Handies Mtn approach. None were in bloom - should try to get back there this weekend.

Playing with the light - backlit @ f4

Wide open at 35mm, digital ND grad filter. It's a shame to have to use this lense on a crop sensor.

Nice sunset!

Went down to the south coast of Sweden today. We have a heat wave so water is a must.

Took a strol in one of the villages.
