I nabbed a 0 my first shot too for the 20-29 group !!!!!!!!!!! Yay me, I wont lie though I really thought I was gonna have that all screwed up, lol tough on the eyes to stare at that. .. .
I just downloaded the Color Eyes demo, calibrated my monitor and got a perfect score on the first try (20 was my first-pass score previously). Maybe I need to spend the $175...
Calibrated monitor but tunsten lighting, scored 4 with weak browns/yellows.
Did it again but with flouresent lighting, scored 4 with weak blues.
I really gotta get into a proper working environment.
I don't have hardware calibration tools and scored 4 on first try on Dell Trinitron 21" CRT beast with bright fluorescent currently glaring overhead. (For careful work I dim my office lights). I don't think it's really proof of a calibrated monitor. As long as colour differentiation can be distinguished this test can give you a zero, regardless whether your reds are true red, greens are truly green, etc.

... Except that if your monitor isn't calibrated, you might not be able to tell the difference between two hues. I used to a have an abstract desktop wallpaper I made from a photo on my Mitsubishi DP920 CRT, and thought it looked pretty good... then I calibrated and it looked horrible with banding all over the place, and I could see more shadow detail to boot.
