Mine was slightly... I had to put on +3 in the MA to make it tack sharp. I'm guessing it's probably my 5D2 though, since I also had to put on +4 with my 70-200 so yeah.

My friend had the same backfocusing issue with his 35L and 7D. He had to send the lens in for calibration and now works fine.

I set up a quick test today, let me know what you guys think. Sorry, I didn't have any bikini clad women hanging out in my back yard, these rocks will have to do for now. All shots tripod mounted w/ remote shutter release. These are 100% crops at the center AF point.

My 35L has to be dialed in at +13 on my Mark IV. But boy is it sharp now, so sharp it will cut ya!
