I happened to look on our corporate employee discount website a couple of days ago. Usually there are minor discounts like 10% off coupons from Target, but Panasonic.com was offering up to 40% on items so I took a look.

I went to the photography section on the Panasonic website and I got a GF1+20 1.7 kit, the viewfinder and an extra battery for $778 plus tax and free shipping. The discount was 32% off of Amazon's current pricing.

The 45-200, 45 2.8, 14-140, GH-1 and G-1 kits are also available at significant discounts. Unfortunately, you can't purchase the 20 1.7 alone.

Our employee shopping/discount website is called "Employee Emporium." I don't know who runs it, but I assume a lot of large corporations subscribe.

Anyway, I thought I would pass along the info. YMMV.

This was available throgh my company's employee discount website. There is no link. We employ about 6,000 people so this won't be avaiilable to anyone. However, our site is run through a third party vendor so I assume other companies might have the same thing. Check your employer's intranet.
