p.1 #1 · Alt hood for 35L?

Do any Canon hoods fit the 35L other than the one that ships with it? I'd like to get a cheap aftermarket hood, but I don't see any that are meant for the 35L specifically.

There are no aftermarket hood for 35mm f/1.4, but you can take a chance with the EW-78* series hoods: http://tinyurl.com/yhbysuq
The EW-78BII may work, which you can buy a cheap one from 3rd party manufacturer.

Are you using a crop or FF? If not FF, the ES-65 II or ET-65I or II. These older hoods may be cheaper? Also these hoods may be smaller in diameter as they are suggested for crop bodies.

Using FF. I guess maybe there really is no alt hood. I'm looking for a cheap replacement because my original is temporarily MIA.

Collapsible rubber lens hoods from Hoya and others are great for the EOSfun

too. Low price, easy and compact when collapsed.
