Are you standing on your hands? How do you hold the camera?
Maybe I exaggerated a little. But I have a fisheye picture with my car at the top of the frame when I was standing under a tree and pointing the camera up to get the fall foliage. The car was behind me. Obviously the camera was oriented vertically to see that far back. Maybe no feet, but I've seen the ground in back of me for sure.
My widest were Tamron 14mm SP (104 deg horizontal AOV on FF) and Zenitar 16/2.8 Fisheye (180 deg on FF diagonal). I recently sold both of them because I used them so rarely. I'm quite happy with the 17-40L and AT-X 17/3.5 that I still have.

Yeah, I think that was it. They had it at the Henry's show and they usually put a Rebel on the back of it as a joke, I think.
That's one lens I want to try a lot. 500mm f/2.8 must be amazing! It would be more amazing if it was IS/OS. But then again, it is probably too heavy to handhold anyway.
Has anyone here used Canon's 1200mm f/5.6L (at trade shows...or your own:)?
