Very nice Hugh. Love the simplicity.
Bob
Hello Bob, thanks for taking the time to comment. Sometimes, on the beach, it's difficult to find effective compositional elements, but the small dunes added to the sea oats and moon seemed just enough. Glad you enjoyed this result.

Very nice - that little slice of moon sends this comp to a whole new level.
Alan
Thanks Alan, The moon was virtually invisible until the light levels started to decrease, and then got better until all of the color was gone. Glad you enjoyed this view.

WoW! I would love to have that on my wall
Thanks for the "WoW!" It makes an enjoyable Super-B print on exhibition fiber, and is on a short list for a larger version on canvas. Glad it works for you too.

Pastel magic , Hugh ! The colour gradients alone place this picture in a class of its own ; add in the crescent moon and the sweet , delicate foreground plants and shadow details and you have a most remarkable image of restful peace and solitude . Undoubted exhibition quality here in my view . Very well done , Sir !
Hello Adrian, thank you so much for the very kind compliments. When we first got there I didn't have very high hopes for the evening, but conditions just kept improving. Glad you enjoyed this version

I agree with Chris that the moon is a bit too near the top, but nonetheless a very beautiful shot. A study in simplicity and yet very strong.
Hello Carlo, thanks for commenting. I hope some day we can have a long discussion on composition . Glad you mostly enjoyed this one
