Kathmandu- Wandering through the old part of the city, I came upon many temples of (mostly) wood construction. They were surrounded by normal street activities.
Scanned from old prints.
Just another day in town, eh?
Nice angles and views of the architecture here. I'm a big fan of elephants, so naturally I'm especially drawn to the first shot.

Thanks, Tim.
There was so much clutter of people, things and buildings in the old part of town that I didn't even try to isolate much. Actually, the clutter added to the intrigue.
I just found another shot of the elephants from the other side looking back. I'll post it tomorrow for you and the multitudes of elephant fans .

Fantastic framing in the first image, and I'm digging your wide-angle shots to get both the building and the people. What focal length did you shoot this at Charlie?
Thanks, Eric.
My two travel lenses were a 70-210mm zoom and a 28-90mm zoom. These were taken at 28mm. It distorted quite a bit at the ends of the long axis, unfortunately.
