p.1 #1 · Going from D60 to T1i, what to expect?

Hello all. I finally upgraded from my old trusty D60 to a new spiffy T1i (Its being shipped now) I was just wondering what should I expect or look forward to in the T1i? Im sure there have been all kinds of new bells and whistles added to Canon cameras since the D60. Thanks for any info.

Never used a D60 (pre my canon years) but the new rebels are very good (XS/XSi/T1i)
Along with all the obvious things to expect. better screen / better AF / Live view / Video Etc
You can also expet much bigger files 15mp 14bit Raws will be much bigger than 6mp 12bit ones. Also remember you new stead uses SD cards not CF's

Speed in processing images, startup, buffer (newer Digic processor).
Way better high ISO performance.
Compatibility with EF-s mount

Much better image quality, a bigger screen, much better speed. Lighter build, even more toy-like. Lack of rear dial is a bummer. Video is useful sometimes.

I agree. There are some great EF-S lenses out there. I have the 10-22, 17-55 and 60 macro and just can't seem to praise them enough.

well thats the 3 'great' Efs lenses with possibly the addition of the 15-85. time will tell
