Great shots of a beautiful bird, Thang! You nailed 'em. All are fav's. I was in Eureka Springs, AR, at the end of October and observed flocks of migrating CWW's on three consecutive days. From what I was able to observe, it seemed that the juvi's and adults banded separately. One day I'd see all juvi's, the next, all adults. This is my first full season of paying serious attention to birds, so this might just have been a random behavioral pattern. TFS'ing....Mitch

Mitch - that's a very interesting observation. I will pay attention to that next time. I do noticed that they come/go in groups. Late Nov/Early Dec are the months these birds migrating through San Joaquin, Irvine. Thanks for sharing your observations.
