Not a complaint , you understand , but it was a refrain that escaped my lips more frequently as my recent journey progressed ! The conditions did , at least , bring out the autumnal colours and some cloud detail .
Glen Sligachan , Isle of Skye , Scotland , with part of the Cuillan Hills range in the distance .
Love the comp, Adrian....the diagonal fg and bend in the stream lead nicely to the mountains. The rainy atmo gives this a cold, blustery feeling, and you're right, the colors did perform beautifully for you.
Hello Adrian, certainly not a relaxing image, but dynamic and effective. Love the subtle, natural colors and sense of motion in the grass and water. Very nice indeed
I never get tired of seeing images from this area and you have captured it so beautifully. love the moody atmospherics combined with the stunning contrasting Fall colors. A place I would want to visit time and time again, beautifully seen Adrian

Very nice colors here Adrian - I like the subtle earthen tones of the color palate in this scene. Fun skies as well.
Alan
Thank you Alan . The filtered light worked well with the natural colours .

Love the hue and subtle colors Adrian..
Great autumn colours. I like the composition. However I''watching this on a small screen so I had to scroll over the image at first. I have to admit that I like the photo better without the large dark stone in the lower middle. Sorry.

Nicely done Adrian. The weather gives you some drops to clean off your lens.
Thank you Tim . I needed some miniature windscreen wipers at times !
