p.1 #1 · Jagged Edge

In this place I was totally taken by the purity of the sand against the jagged edge. A place I will probably never return to.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice Craig - a well balanced exposure that lets everything in the scene jump out at the viewer without jumping over the edge with blown out lighting.

Thanks for sharing.

Fascinating structure with the hog-back sticking up out of the sand. Really nice shot, Craig.

Nice composition and contrast - also between the hard rock and "soft" sand. Where is this?

Andrew, Alan, Sharon...David, Rich, Barry...Peyton, Karl, Jakob..

Thanks for the nice comments. The location is way off the beaten path from any normal SE Utah landmarks. It was a ranch road that I followed and followed for a long time. Then all the sage was gone and it was sand. Sometimes I wish I could post really large as I think things look better big! But then it wouldn't fit many monitors.

Your right, these would look great printed large! The first is a fine shot, with killer detail. I'd crop a bit off the top of the second...
Thanks for showing these Craig.

Hi, Craig.

I only see one. Did I miss something? What I do see, I like. This image has a wonderful contrast of elements included. The sand against the jagged edge, and nicely colored sky is lovely. The sagebrush adds even more interest. Well done.

Cheers,
Ed

Ha ha!
I had a picture posted for abut 30 seconds that Zeph must have seen before I removed it.
I did take his advice however on cropping but didn't repost it here...

Thanks again guys!
