proof ffs
more like snaps lol
first two are good .......
track doesnt look rutted enough to justify such a fast shutter speed
any paddock shots they help tie in the story .....
what does proof ffs mean? and are you saying these look like snap shots, sorry i am not a professional as it seems that you are with your remarks. As to the "paddock" shots i am not trying to tell a story here, just showing some photos, and since you are "lol" lets see your mx shots so i can get a good laugh.
hey, i am not trying to offend you but would like to make a few comments. The big word "PROOF" across each photos are very "big" and your posted photos are not so it is very hard to get a clear view of the image you are trying to present here. I have to almost try to use my imagination to remove the word from my mind in order to really "see" the photo. And like you said you are not a professional photog and then you are not worrying about if people are going to steal and use your images why not just put a signature of sort instead.
From what i can make out, i think you have some very decent shots here, #1 #2 #3 are very interesting, and these kids looks like they are having some serious fun there!
I know it's important to protect your images, but all I see in the images really is the word proof. It's very distracting. The photographers giving you critiques aren't going to steal the photos...the parents of those kids are and I doubt they follow these boards...
You need to lighten up. If you are posting to display your work then it's really hard to see with the huge proof across the image. If you are looking for critique and come off so defensive nobody will bother. If you want to pick a fight asking for others to show their motocross photos then you will probably be blown out of the water. Why are you here?
Looks pretty good.
I like the dirt flying in #2.
#3 is nice. A little slower shutter speed would really make it on that one to show some wheel speed
All photos are dead center. Moving the crop around will give it a little better feel.
Definitely loose the proof. Guaranteed no non photo person would know what the FM forum is.
I won't say anything about the "PROOF" stuff...
You could use slower shutter speeds in order to emphasize motion and speed aslo on the front angle shots.
Another thing that you should consider while shooting MX is the height you're shooting from.. i prefer shooting as close to ground as i can... again it emphasizes the action and makes things look bigger and more extreme.
