A nice set Karl. 6 is my pick -great pose, color and sharpness, and the bg is to die for. Nice comp too.Your cloud shot is a miss for me though - the "clouds" are a bit distracting, but otherwise a nice shot.

Karl,
You were not kidding when you said sharp... I damn near poked my eye out
I really love the feel and comp. in #5 and that Starling has to be the prettiest one I've seen.
Great job on all of these buddy.
Tim
Oh I hope not 'too' sharp though. I am glad to hear you like #5, me too I have a few more of the Starlings, the colors reminded me of getting the good light on the Grackles.
Thanks buddy.........take care

Oh Mommy, the joy of no blech!!
Karl, you've added some fine color to an otherwise dreary day. #'s 5 and 8 are just gr8
Oh Mommy I was in the 'no blech' zone Mr Monkey, figured I owed to you and the boyz for putting up nicely with the florals
Glad to hear my boids cured your dreary day, thank you most kindly
Karl
Ohhhh my what a sweetie in #6 Karl Great diagonal perch and he chose just the right spot to perch Love this shot buddy!
Yeah those quackers are quick but you stopped the action just fine my friend! Underside view in #1 is a beaut. Last frame preener is a winner and one excellent portrait Starling is looking quite handsome and you have done him proud with beautiful plummage detail and color. Compo in this one is top flight as well
Could you tell I enjoyed the heck out of this set ?
NO greenery.....where is the real Karl?? ! Super shootin' Mr. Karl, great colors, detail and variety, favs are 3, 6 and 9, even with everything a drab brown, you managed to put up a colorful series!
Nice set Karl.
I like your rendition of the Mallards in 9 (especially); great light/colors and the fly guy in #1.
Sweet detail, color and BG on the Bluebird in 6. Good to see capturing some birdies again.
