Beautiful palette of color. Maybe by getting a little lower you might have made the reflection even more impressive and more of a focal point? Nice first post though
This is a nice shot, but there is something missing for me. I find that bit of rock out in the water a little distracting. While the sun looks nice, and the reflection off the wet sand is nice, it's still needing another focal point. Like a boat in the water, maybe a bird flying through the shot, foot prints in the sand.... get the idea? Now if it has been one of those out of this world color sunsets, then the color alone would probably be enough as a focal point, but with just a more normal looking golden sunset, you need something else.
