Thanks Tim. When I got out of the car to take this shot I thought something was burning under the car, but it was the bush, although the fires had been at least 6 months prior.
Wouldn't it be nice if IR was a mode we could turn on/off in our DSLRs? This is a terrific image. I can get close to this with Channel mixer, but the effect here is really over the edge. Very strong effect, and somehow the IR goes well with the post-fire concept.

Thanks eNoBlog. That would be nice but I feel a camera like that would probably be dearer than converting an old one to IR.
