Well, I am sure it is more beautiful than pictures can ever adequately convey but these are great pictures nonetheless. I particularly like the first and last ones. Thanks for sharing. I am sitting in the Pacific Northwest where it has been in the mid 40's and raining. So these are very much appreciated.
Oh wow, beautiful place! I'll add that it's a much nicer view than out my window: even though we had sun today I still see the foot of snow that fell in the last 2 days... I'll also add that I too like the 1st and 3rd, the middle with it's log litter and way-tilty horizon doesn't do much for me.
Man awesome photos. Going to have to put this on my list of places I hope to someday visit. Though I noticed that the horizon is tilted on number 2 but I wasn't sure if you did that intentionally. Also I think # 1 would be better as a panorama type shot by cropping out more of the water on the lower portion of the photo.
Thanks to everyone for the comments and suggestions. I noticed the horizon in #2 was slanted. It wasn't intentional or unintentional, in that I was framing for the foreground and neglected the horizon. Note to self for next time. I like the idea of making #1 more of a pano, think I'll give that a try. And for those of you looking at snow out your windows, the water temperature there was like a warm bath.
