Nice set David. I like the third in particular though I think I might have liked to see that last little edge of the cove to the right (I know it would have centered the mountain but none the less). I also like the angular "flow" of the last one.

gorgeous set here love the feel of crispness these images relay. Beautiful colors and processing here. If anything I may be tempted to crop a little of the foreground in #3. All are very nicely seen

David: A great series. I still look forward to my first visit there; and your images tell the story.

I'm with Ray on #3, which is also my favorite. A crop off the bottom of about 1/2 the water, taking out the foreground shore looks pretty good to me.

Thanks all for your very kind words and input. #3 seems to be emerging as the favourite and a few have suggested a crop. Here is another shot I captured and processed without the shore in the foreground. I wasn't sure about it but I offer it here for comparison and critique.

Really like the crop on #3 as it really draws my eyes to the main subject the Rockies and not the shoreline a beautiful image you have created here

My favorite is #3, uncropped. To me it looks like the prow of a ship slowly moving forward. I love the clarity in the mountain areas as well.

Edit: I like how the shore and the right hand side frame it as well.

I really enjoy all of the images, so we're just talking details here. Of course I like the 2nd version of 3 better; it's closer and larger, and gives more emphasis to the clouds and mist. Just MHO, but I think even in that, the big wave on the bottom could be cropped, since it is not whole, it has shore color underneath and disracts just slightly from the main (and beautiful) subject.

Beautiful images.

Lovely scenery, and lovely images. Another vote for #3. Revision looks much better. I'll agree with Bart's remarks on the additional crop. The clarity on these is excellent.
