p.1 #1 · How to fire Elinchrom and SB-800 in the same shot? | |
I am a strobist. Recently I started shooting in studio. And I am also working on building my own studio in my 2 car garage.
Since my current budge (refer to "my shopping list for my key light") only allows me to get the key light done, I am going to use a couple of other hotshoe flashes as hair light, and background lights with the key light Elinchrom BX 500 Ri. My question is how to fire them in the same shot. My current idea is to use EL-Skyport Transmitter to control the key light and the hotshoe flashes(Nikon SB800/900) are set to SU-4 mode(optical sensor mode). Do you think this setup will work? My current concern is the shutting off the model light right before the key light on could misfire the hotshoe flashes accidentally.
