In my excitement, I hardly noticed the guard rails were in the shot, sorta distracting....
The river looks tilted, but the trees seem straight, your feedback would be helpful...

Wow, what a spectacular scene, and very well captured.

My only nits are things that you didn't have control over, such as the fence (middle left) and I don't really like the larger branch interfering with the top of the falls but that could be easily cloned out. I see a few dust bunnies too Get to cloning! Haha...

Aside from those tiny nits this is a great shot! I really like it.

Tim

Ps... I see what you're saying about the tilted river but I think it's just one those mind tricks... It's barely noticeable and I only "saw" it after reading what you wrote. It didn't catch my eye right off the bat.

Beautiful scene and great perspective. The rail really doesn't bother me. I like it.

I think a high perspective will often skew a river into looking tilted. This looks fine to me. The fallen trees tell of strong storms or heavy winter damage. The color and motion in the river are wonderful, and it looks like a LOT of water!!
My only suggestion....very slight 's' to deepen the shadows a small touch.
Beautiful view!

That is an excellent image Zeph - the exposure on the water is dead on and the overall lighting is very nice. Tim is right about the dust bunnies but that's a quick fix. I might be inclined to try to reduce the visual of the guard rail if this were my image but YMMV.

Nice work.

very nice zeph, what i really like is that your vertical framing suits this scene very well!

i forgot to mention, there might be some dust spots in the upper right. and about the fence, doesn't bother me that much.

Spectacular view, Zeph. I can imagine that you hardly noticed the guard. I also would have been excited.

That's beautiful Zeph, if any fallen trees happen to be in a scene like this, at least they're at oblique angles! I agree with Alan about reducing the visibility of the guardrails - even just a slight burning of the highlights on it should reduce their standoutishness...

Very impressive (why not just clone that rail out)

Wow, that is quite a setting, Zeph. I really like the way this is presented. Really nice work on this. I would be tempted, as well, to clone those rails out.

Cheers,
Ed

First off, you folks are too kind... I appreciate all of the kind words and comments. Not sure how I missed the dust spots, seems like that's what I spend most of my processing time doing, especially with panos, give me a break! I'm tempted to get a camera back for every lens I own! Something has to be done about dust, I know I can map the spots, but my focal length is all over the place.
Anyway, I posted a cloned version, without the fences, certainly not something I could print, but looks better for web purposes...
