I think it was the D60 with the 100-300 and some lens that I put on the front. Date was 3-30 03 about the time I convinced Fred we needed a macro forum . Enjoy Well it looks like the exif shows a 50 so it must have been my EF50 1.4 with another 50 taped to the front in rev . Dalantech Offline Dedicated FM Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #9 · My 1st Macro It wasn't my intention to hijack the thread Bruce -I took Tom"s post as a "show your progress" invitation because I've made similar posts. I think it's important to do a post like this one since all too often newbies think that they should be doing really well from the beggining because of the images they see here. It takes years to get good at macro, and I've seen very few people who had the necessary skills to shoot well from the beggining. I added them to show that I too was a newbie once. Maybe you need to cut me some slack and not read more in to what I post than what's on the screen...
