I've been getting several PMs as to where and when the first meet should be for folks that have free time. May I suggest 6 to 7 AM at Bolsa Chica for the first meet? Everyone can chime in here if that is aggreable. Thanks in advance!
Great stuff, Conrad! I am in for the shoot. Bolsa Chica is a must, San Joaquin is not bad .... but El Dorado might not be so good, so I am told. The Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve could be an option too. We can meet in Bolsa Chica and then discuss and decide on the next/other good spots.
May I know what lens did you use if it's okay with you?
Thanks Peter! I have one lens for wildlife and its a 400mm f/5.6. Its very good for in flight in good light. Saving up for the 500mm for static long range stuff hehe...

Hey Conrad .... Huntington Beach is right next door to Bolsa Chica, so if we don't get good bird shots we can go to Huntington Beach to shoot the chicks!
