I must remember to thank my wife for a square of aluminum foil, the use of her best crystal and drop of red, yellow and blue food coloring.

Thank you Endre,
I took a piece of my wife’s crystal and put about ½” of water then placed one drop of three primary colors so they would overlap and placed a square of aluminum foil one foot under the crystal that was resting on a glass table. What you are seeing is the reflected light from the aluminum shining through the food coloring. Very low tech and basic but it did put on a colorful show.

Very interesting. I like the blending between the colors. I see the orange and the green, but I am suprised to not see any purple there. Nice take on the topic.
