I haven't been active here in a while, I think it's time to change that
I love shooting birds, but don't have the time to find the crazy ones right now (see the wildlife section for the crazy ones). The chickadees around my house, though, are always willing subjects!
What do you think of this? The whites on its face are a little too hot - you can however still see the detail! - but I can fix that easily. How's the exposure control? Sharpness? Composition? I wanted more of a fine-art feel than just straight wildlife photography for this shot.
I think that you have done a wonderful job. The only thing that "bothers" me is the white branch that covers some parts of the bird. It is almost going up in "the behind" (you know what I mean?) of the bird - a shame. Besides that detail, it is a very beatiful picture.
Yeah that #$$^^&#@ branch kinda does look like it might be, uh, bothering the bird now that you mentioned it. I wonder if a careful cloning would fix it? Thanks again for the comment!
